Physical therapy

Physical therapy helps children develop the skills needed to achieve their highest level of functioning. Physical therapy examines: Balance, Coordination, Endurance , Flexibility, Gross motor function, Mobility, Pain, Posture, Strength.

Occupational therapy

Occupational therapy’s role is to assist in improving overall functional level of the child’s gross and fine motor skills. The major areas of occupational therapy concentration are: hand/grasping skills, feeding skills, sensory processing skills, work behavior, cognitive development, play skills and activities of daily living.

Speech therapy

Speech therapists at the foundation identify the child’s speech and language disorders, evaluate his/her speech and language skills and provide appropriate intervention for such. Skills targeted during therapy include speech and articulation, receptive and expressive language, auditory comprehension and auditory processing.

Dance therapy

Dance therapy is one of the many exciting options offered by the expanding field of alternative therapy. At D.R.E.A.M., special children, their siblings, and friends are invited to participate together in dance and movement classes. Through engaging classes in a positive atmosphere with both typical and atypical children, your special child will gain confidence, social skills, balance, and strength.
